We're starting a blog here. This is where we'll share what we learn building OSDPtools — protocol gotchas, hardware design notes, release announcements, andpractical guidance for anyone working with the Open Supervised Device Protocol.

What to expect ​

The plan is to keep posts close to the work:

• Field notes — things that only show up when you put a reader, a panel, anda real RS-485 bus in the same room.
• Release announcements — what changed in LibOSDP, Osprio View, thehardware, and the firmware, and why.
• Protocol deep-dives — secure channel, install mode, baud negotiation, andthe corners of OSDP that the spec leaves to interpretation.
