OsprioPro

Field hardware for every workspace, anywhere

The field-carry OSDP workstation

Osprio Pro is the battery-backed Osprio hardware platform for field teams that need capture, emulation, provisioning, and future workspaces on one device. It is designed for untethered jobs, Bluetooth workflows, and offline operation without giving up secure handling or on-device control.

Platform Highlights

Built for the full field workflow

01

Every workspace, one firmware

Capture, emulator, and future Osprio View workspaces all run from a single unified firmware image. Switch between them on-device, one at a time, with no reflashing and no separate tools to carry.

One image means one thing to update and one thing to trust — the whole catalog travels on the device instead of being split across purpose-built boxes.

02

Offline operation

Keep working when the laptop is closed or there is no network. Sessions can continue on-device and sync back into Osprio View once you are reconnected.

That is what makes Pro a true field instrument: a provisioning batch or a capture can run untethered and backfill its results later, rather than requiring a host present the whole time.

03

Bluetooth + USB-C

Bluetooth covers mobile, cable-free workflows; USB-C covers wired control, charging, and direct desktop attachment.

Two connection paths mean you choose per job — go wireless from a phone at the panel, or wire in at the bench — without changing tools.

04

Display + navigation inputs

An on-device screen, navigation controls, buzzer, and LED indicators let you confirm state and drive basic actions right at the device.

When you are standing at a panel without a laptop open, on-device control is the difference between a self-sufficient instrument and a peripheral that needs a host for everything.

05

Secure element

A dedicated secure element gives protected hardware storage for provisioning and secure-channel material, kept inside a real security boundary.

Keys and sensitive material live behind hardware protection rather than in general-purpose memory — fitting for a device that commissions secure channels in the field.

06

Single-channel RS-485

A single RS-485 channel connects directly to the bus, so you move between jobs quickly without a pile of adapters.

It is a deliberately simple bus interface: one well-defined connection to the wire, nothing extra to assemble or misconfigure on site.

07

SD card + battery

Built for long workdays: around 20 hours of operation, weeks of standby, and a USB-C recharge in roughly two hours, with onboard SD storage for captures and session data.

The power and storage budget is sized for real field shifts, so the device lasts the day and holds what it records without a host attached.

08

Field upgrades

Firmware updates apply in the field, so the platform keeps gaining workspaces and workflows over its life.

Like the rest of the lineup, Pro is built to grow: the hardware you carry today picks up new Osprio View capabilities as they ship.

Works With Osprio View

One device, many workspaces

Osprio Pro is the most flexible home for Osprio View workspaces. Capture a live bus, emulate a CP or PD, and — on battery-backed hardware — provision devices in the field, all from one platform.

FAQ

We get these questions a lot

Do I need to reflash Osprio Pro to switch workspaces?

No. Osprio Pro carries every Osprio View workspace — capture, emulation, and provisioning — in one unified firmware image, so you move between them on-device, one at a time, with no firmware-app switch or reflash. On battery it runs them offline in the field.

Is Osprio Pro Bluetooth only?

No. Osprio Pro works over both Bluetooth and USB-C. It's designed to be used wirelessly with the Osprio View mobile app over Bluetooth for untethered field work, while USB-C covers wired desktop control and charging.

How is Osprio Pro different from Osprio Mini?

Osprio Pro is battery-backed and runs every workspace from one unified firmware image — switching on-device with no firmware-app switch — and adds a display, secure element, and Bluetooth; Osprio Mini is compact, host-powered over USB-C, and switches its firmware app to change workspace.
