What we store in your browser, why, and how to change your mind.
"Cookies" is the common term for small pieces of data that a website asks your browser to remember. This page uses it broadly to include cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, and similar browser storage technologies — the legal obligations under the EU ePrivacy Directive apply to all of them, not just cookies in the strict sense.
The following table lists every item we store in your browser when you visit this site.
| Name | Storage | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
osdp-consent | localStorage | osdp.dev (first-party) | Remembers your choice from the cookie consent banner so we do not re-prompt you on every page load. | Until you clear browser storage | Strictly necessary | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in respecting your prior choice |
osdp.theme | localStorage | osdp.dev (first-party) | Remembers your light/dark theme preference so the page renders correctly on subsequent visits. | Until you clear browser storage | Strictly necessary (preference) | Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in delivering the UI you chose |
_ga, _ga_* | Cookie | Google LLC (third-party) | Assigns an anonymous identifier so Google Analytics can distinguish unique visitors and sessions. Used only for aggregate traffic measurement; we do not use Analytics for advertising. | Up to 13 months | Analytics | Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your explicit consent via the banner |
The only third party that may set cookies on our domain is Google Analytics, and only after you click "Accept" in the consent banner. If you reject or ignore the banner, no Google Analytics cookies are set.
Google Analytics data is processed under Google's terms; you can review their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and opt out site-wide using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We do not embed advertising trackers, social media pixels, A/B-testing tools, or session-replay tools.
You can change your mind at any time using one of the following methods:
osdp-consent item from this site's browser storage and reload the page — the banner will reappear. In most browsers: open DevTools → Application → Local Storage → https://osdp.dev → delete the key./.well-known/gpc.json.You have the rights set out in our Privacy Policy, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability. For cookie-related requests specifically, contact [email protected].
If we add or remove cookies, we will update the table above and bump the "Last updated" date. Material changes that introduce new tracking will trigger the consent banner again so your existing choice does not silently extend to a wider scope.
